I love where I live. The Fourth Street Lofts in Oakland is clearly the best place I've ever lived. The Jack London Square area of Oakland is becoming a vibrant community. It is next to  the
produce section, across the freeway from Chinatown and downtown
Oakland. It is near Lake Merritt and the Oakland estuary (which
is the Bay Area shipping port).With this mix comes some very interesting people. This building is populated by artists, geeks, lawyers, labor unionists, and business people. I know my neighbors here better than I ever have anywhere. This section is designed to introduce you to the neighbors and to the hood. |
